WJZZ Blue Note Charities is a 501c3  established in 2024, to facilitate our endeavors to provide community services of education and opportunities to disenfranchised residents throughout Michigan to assist them achieve their artistic ambitions and cultural awareness.

We are and equal opportunity organization  dedicated to the purpose of cultivating an appreciation for the arts and providing materials artist may need to sustain themselves and progress their artistic talents

We emphasize assisting youth age 3 -17 years of age to expose them to cultural diversity, academic opportunities and humanitarian resources.

Although we a newly established organization we are proud of our achievements to date which include receiving the endorsements and partnerships of The Highland Park Chamber of Commerce, The Michigan Music Hall of Fame.

Our unique status as being the only charitable organization dedicated to the performing arts, that is a subsidiary of WJZZ Detroit Jazz Radio Entertainment which is the worlds oldest jazz station. We contend having association with this legendary brand is a benefit to ours and our donor/supporters alike.
This association allows us to enjoy a global Reach to promote our purpose and events and extend this opportunity to our donor partners.  The WJZZ media brand has a sterling reputation and a combined reach of over 200k and growing providing customized messaging and promotions 24 hours a day 365 days of the year.
Our audience is comprised of seniors and youths of all genders, race, ethnicity and economic class. Our target demographic is those who have artistic ambitions, interest, talents and abilities.
