Producers Coterie

The Coterie is limited to 12 persons known as producers.

Members must be invited by the WJZZ President or past or president members.

Members must be adult male or female ages 30 and older.

Must appreciate and enjoy jazz the arts and culture and supporting artistic programs to advocate and jazz culture.

Obligations of Coterie producers.

Producers shall make tax deductible philanthropic donations of $ 5,000 annually  to WJZZ Detroit Jazz Radio and shall meet in person at designated location selected by the president meetings can be attended virtually as well.

Meetings shall be 1 per season every 90 days.

Privileges

  • Each producer shall propose their artist of choice for consideration to perform as the headline main attraction to perform at the WJZZ Imperial Jazz Festival the most prestigious jazz festival in the world held annually.
  • Producers vote to select the main attraction artist.
  • Producers shall enjoy VIP access at the Imperial Jazz Festival and shall enjoy inviting 5 guest.
  • Producers shall enjoy attending the WJZZ Legacy Jazz Series at their leisure and shall donate $200 toward production cost for each concert of their choice.
  • Producers shall enjoy membership to be renewed yearly per their annual donation.

Producers Coterie Member Terms of Membership

  • Membership Limit: The Coterie is limited to 12 members known as producers.
  • Invitation: Members must be invited by the WJZZ President or past or present members.
  • Age and Gender: Members must be adult male or female ages 30 and older.
  • Interest: Must appreciate and enjoy jazz, the arts, and culture and supporting artistic programs to advocate for jazz culture.

Obligations of Producers

  • Philanthropic Donations: Producers shall make tax-deductible philanthropic donations of $5,000 annually to WJZZ Detroit Jazz Radio.
  • Meetings: Producers shall meet in person at designated locations selected by the president. Meetings can also be attended virtually.
  • Meeting Frequency: Meetings shall be held once per season, approximately every 90 days.

Privileges of Producers

  • Artist Selection: Each producer shall propose their artist of choice for consideration to perform as the headline main attraction at the WJZZ Imperial Jazz Festival.
  • Voting: Producers vote to select the main attraction artist.
  • VIP Access: Producers shall enjoy VIP access at the Imperial Jazz Festival and shall be able to invite 5 guests.
  • Legacy Jazz Series: Producers shall enjoy attending the WJZZ Legacy Jazz Series at their leisure and shall donate $200 toward production costs for each concert of their choice.
  • Membership Renewal: Producers shall enjoy membership to be renewed yearly per their annual donation.
